The ongoing pandemic and internal issues continue to affect the studio but, with WoW's 9.2 update release date on the horizon, we're keeping our fingers crossed that the MMORPG's next expansion will benefit from more attention. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has a considerably slower pace in terms of content releases than previous expansions, and will seemingly have a structure similar to Warlords of Draenor, which also only received two major patches. WoW patch 9.2 Release Date (GameWatcher estimation): February 22 The release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands After months of speculation, the release date for Shadowlands was finally revealed at Gamescom 2020. New updates usually go live with the weekly reset, which happens on Tuesday/Wednesday, depending on if you're playing on US or EU servers.īlizzard has now confirmed that Shadowlands' final major patch, called Eternity's End, will arrive on February 22. PTR cycles usually last between 2.5 and 3 months, which is why we expected WoW 9.2's release date to occur at some point between mid-February and early March 2022. That was when players got the first chance to try out its changes, including the new Cypher of the First Ones progression system and various balance tweaks, before raid testing kicked off towards the middle of the month. The players with a decent level of experience can volunteer to be the mentors in this channel by going through the guide recruiter system in Orgrimmar for Horde, or in Stormwind for Alliance.World of Warcraft: Shadowlands' patch 9.2 went live on the PTR (public test realm) during the week of December 2, 2021. All the new players will be added to this channel automatically for asking questions. There will be a new mentoring game system in which the experienced players will be allowed to guide the new players via a special chat channel. Blizzard has also mentioned that the 1-50 levelling experience will be about 30 percent faster than the 1-120 experience previously. It was going to release on October 26, but Blizzard announced on October 1 that it couldn't make. The new level cap will now be level 60 in Shadowlands and is capped to 50 in the pre-patch, which means that for a short period of time the max-level for the characters in WoW will actually be lower-level than the classic WoW. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands launches on November 23 at 3pm PST / November 24 at 12am CET. However, they will have to complete all the quests related to that character race. When Shadowlands is released on October 27, you’ll be able to choose between the 39.99 base edition, the 59.99 Heroic Edition, the 79.99 Epic Edition, and the 119.99 Collector’s Edition. Players can now pick one of the ten allies they want to choose and start levelling them up. 
Now the players can start an allied race toon as the reputation requirements to start an allied race character are not removed in this pre-patch. The patch has been on the PTR since the beginning of December.

The Shadowlands 9.2: Eternitys End update is set to arrive on February 22 (23 for EU realms).
